Commercial Lease

Description

A Commercial Lease or Licence is the agreement between a landlord and property user about the user’s occupancy of commercial premises.

The rental documents themselves are usually  long and complex and give rise to related legal isses we will have to handle for you, that might include:

  • Dealing with security (rent deposits or personal guarantees)
  • Examining title
  • Researching rates and other costs
  • Consideration of the condition of the property and liabilities that result
  • Registration
  • Tax

We have an experienced Commercial Property team who are specialists in leases who deal with all of the above.

Please Contact Us to discuss how we might address your particular requirements.

How long will it take?

It usually only takes a few days to finalise a rental agreement and if necessary, one can be prepared in a few hours at an extra charge.

Money Matters

Our work will be charged at a fixed fee of £810 including VAT.

Our fee applies regardless of how much work we actually do. In some cases this may mean we’ll get relatively better paid for doing less work than in other cases, in which the fixed fee will barely cover our costs. This is simply the nature of the mutual gamble between a solicitor and their client when they fix a fee.

More detail of all these matters will be outlined in our retainer letter which you will be able to review before you engage us, after pressing the “Buy” button on the website.

If you have any questions or require any further information, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us.
