Pre Nuptial Agreement
When a couple decide to get married or enter a civil partnership, either or both parties may wish to protect their wealth. This could be to recognise pre acquired wealth or to protect a future gift or inheritance. It is essential to ensure that such an agreement is prepared properly in order to maximise the potential success of the agreement in court.
The ways in which we can attempt to protect such wealth are:
- A pre nuptial agreement for marrying couples
- A pre civil partnership agreement for same sex couples entering into a civil partnership
- A post nuptial agreement for couples who are already married
- A cohabitation agreement for couples living together.
How long will it take?
The time taken for our work to conclude depends on precisely what it is we are asked to do. We will always endeavour to complete any work in a timely manner.
